Why Aren’t Phases Appearing on the Fixed Fee Tab in My Invoice Draft?

If you are preparing an invoice draft and expect to see phases listed on the Fixed Fee tab, but no phases are appearing, this means that any phases on your project are set up to bill hourly.

To check whether your project phases are set to bill hourly:

  1. Navigate to the Budget tab of the project.
  2. Review the Billing Type for each phase.

 

How to Change the Billing Type:

If you need to switch a phase from Hourly to Fixed Fee (before it has been invoiced):

  1. Click the pencil icon to edit the phase.
  2. Locate the Billing Type field.
  3. Change it from Hourly to Fixed Fee.
  4. Save your changes.

 

Important Considerations:

  • Once a phase has been invoiced using a specific billing type, it cannot be changed.
  • If a phase has already been billed as Hourly, you will need to create a new phase for Fixed Fee billing.
  • Ensure that billing types are set correctly before generating invoices to avoid discrepancies.
